Colorchase

Colorchase

A beautiful collaboration between
a mother and daughter.

We're here to prove that color isn't just pretty, it's a secret tool for wellness and communication. And get this, even when our loved one's health takes a hit, we can still create unforgettable moments with them using color. And for the caregivers, color isn't just for our loved ones, it's a path to finding your own well-being too.

Our language.

Growing up, my mom, the artist extraordinaire, and I had this thing for colors. It became our own secret language, our way of communicating. We'd chat endlessly about our favorite colors, agreeing that there were no bad colors, only bad combos.

Curveball.

It was just a matter of time before life threw us a curveball. She now lives with dementia, and her ability to speak like before has faded away. The experience left me feeling disconnected like I was missing out on precious moments with her. Both of us had a hard time adjusting to this new reality. What I didn't know was that it would lead to something unexpected and beautiful.

A bridge.

Through color and art, I was able to connect with her. For two whole years, she didn't mention my name. When she finally did, it was heartbreaking. "Claire, I'm so sorry," she said.

Despite the sadness, that moment was a breakthrough. It reminded me that even in the toughest times, there can be glimmers of connection and understanding. And that's what this project, Colorchase, is all about. It's a tribute to our bond, our love for colors, and how art can bridge the gap when words fail us.

We have both physical and digital art ready to send your way.
